Hey Team,
I'm raising some funds to try and give back to the Cancer Society whilst having a few laughs.
We're punishing our little old Yamaha Chappy's from Wellington CBD all the way to Masterton with a few detours.
Its 206km's on a 1970's and 1980's scooter rain or shine.
The Society has helped my family on both sides over the last few years to help fight cancer.
Dad was able to use the accommodation services whilst waiting for surgery's for skin cancer. This helped immensely while he was away from home down in Chch.
He would be stoked that we are giving back whilst also having some fun on something he would call me an idiot for riding. But he would be smiling for sure.
Cancer unfortunately has touched both sides of my family. My wonderful mum-in-law has been battling it for the last few years. And the society has been there for her too.
Imagine how slow I am going to be going up the Rimutaka Hill!!
