WAI-LD Hogs Ride the C2C Scooter Safari

Hey there wonderful people! Thanks for stopping by my fundraising page! 

I've been supporting my Mum, Susan with her breast cancer journey - and I'm proud to say I'm signed up with the WAI-LD Hogs (see what I did there...WAIrarapa pun!) to ride my tiny scooter 206km in the Cancer Society's Scooter Safari, because I believe its my turn to give back.

Mum utilised accommodation at Margaret Stewart House in Wellington during her course of radiation treatments. This made a hugely positive impact on her journey, as it provided relief from a daily round trip of 200kms for treatments (about what I will cover on my scooter!) and granted her a safe, comfortable and compassionate place for rest and recovery. 

I'm taking on this challenge to raise contributions for The Cancer Society - so they can continue to provide assistance to those who are so deserving.

Mum's been an absolute trooper through her journey, remaining so positive and always putting others first, despite her own battle.

I'll be riding with her determination in mind!
